Lancaster's Trusted Pest Control Provider
Highmark Pest Solutions handles ants, spiders, scorpions, and rodents for homes across Lancaster and the Antelope Valley — with a treatment approach built around what actually shows up in high-desert conditions, not a coastal playbook applied inland.
About Us
Highmark Pest Solutions is based at 241 E Avenue K 8 in Lancaster, CA, providing general pest control, scorpion, and rodent services for homeowners across the Antelope Valley.
Owner Grant Castillo built the business around a gap he kept seeing: pest control companies based in the coastal LA basin applying the same approach to high-desert homes, where scorpions, black widows, and extreme heat swings create a genuinely different set of problems.
What We Do
Treatment built around what actually shows up in Antelope Valley conditions — extreme heat, scorpions, and black widows, not a generic coastal approach.
Ant, spider, black widow, and scorpion control around entry points and the home's perimeter, using products and timing suited to high-desert conditions.
Full inspection for subterranean termite activity, common in the Antelope Valley's irrigated landscaping and older properties.
Entry-point sealing plus trapping and removal, addressing the ground squirrels and desert rodents specific to the area.
Scheduled visits timed around Antelope Valley's extreme summer heat and scorpion activity.
Targeted treatment for the venomous pests high-desert homes deal with that coastal properties rarely see.
Sealing attic and crawlspace entry points against ground squirrels and other desert wildlife.

A Homeowner's Guide
High-desert pest pressure is different from what most LA-area companies deal with. Here's what to ask before hiring one.
Some general pest companies don't offer targeted scorpion or black widow treatment at all — worth confirming before you assume it's included.
A technician used to coastal LA jobs may not know the specific entry points and hiding spots scorpions use in high-desert homes.
Pest control work in California should be performed by a company licensed with the state's Structural Pest Control Board, with a written treatment plan before work begins.
Where We Work
Highmark Pest Solutions serves Lancaster and the surrounding Antelope Valley, a high desert region where July highs average near 100°F and the area sees only about 8 inches of rain a year — conditions that push scorpions and black widows toward homes seeking shade and moisture, a pattern coastal-focused pest companies aren't set up to treat for.
